Michael Alcott trained at Nature Care College at St Leonards in Remedial Therapies. This diploma programme involves remedial and sports massage as well as sports nutrition, sports medicine and iridology. At the same time, he completed additional units in lymphatic drainage. In 2005, Michael started practising Bowen Technique and has completed both the traditional training and the new Nationally Recognised Diploma programme, as well as all Specialised Procedure units.
Michael worked for many years at both City Clinic on York and City Clinic on King with some excellent practitioners before seeking to build a practice on his own principles.
Michael treats a wide range of patients from many different backgrounds. Many present with classic office worker problems, but he also sees a wide range of sportspeople - everything from runners and triathletes to the various football codes to ballroom and even pole dancing. He also treats lymphatic breakdowns, post-viral conditions, insect and arachnid toxicity and can assist with overall wellbeing.
